IT SUPPORT FOR SIDCUP-BASED CLEANING & SERVICES COMPANY
Thames Cleaning & Support Services is a highly-respected office cleaning and services company covering London and South East.
Akita provides IT support for their Sidcup-based office staff, as well as a range of hosted and IT infrastructure services.
Our relationship began with the cloud hosting of Thames Cleaning’s specialist facilities management software, which Akita was able to fulfil through our data centre setup. Conversations then moved on to the company’s wider IT requirements, resulting in Akita providing ongoing responsive and proactive IT support for Thames Cleaning.
With the hosted software setup proving successful, Akita has since delivered wider hosted IT services for the company. We now deliver Thames Cleaning a hosted desktop setup, with all staff members local desktop run from our cloud environment.
The cloud-hosted setup makes management of the company’s IT simpler: PC updates, for example, can be actioned on mass and remotely rather than one machine at a time. It has also allowed the company to move its servers to the cloud, introducing new benefits in terms of the flexibility and scalability of its IT setup.
As the relationship has progressed we continue to provide Thames Cleaning with new IT managed services as required. This has included IT hardware provision and assistance with Microsoft licensing.
