    Microsoft Teams Calling

    Akita also provides two solutions for turning Microsoft Teams into an outbound calling platform.

    Microsoft 365 Business Voice is a simple additional per-user licence that transforms Microsoft Teams into a calling system. It offers all the features you’d expect of a phone system: voice mail, caller ID, shared phone lines and emergency calls.  Plus, you can also set up standard and freephone numbers, call menus, audio conferencing and more. Business Voice comes with two calling package options: domestic (1200 minutes per user/month) and domestic/international (600 minutes each per user/month)  depending on your requirements.

    As an alternative, we also offer Direct Routing. This solution offers the same functionality as Business Voice, just with more flexibility available from calling packages.

    Other than the technical configuration, the main difference between the offerings is the minutes available: Direct Routing offers 2000 landline minutes per user/month for the same cost as Business Voice. And If you take a three-year contract with us, this changes to 2000 landline minutes and 2000 mobile minutes per user/month. The solution also comes with access to the SIP Trunk Call Manager to manage numbers, call routing as well as provide a failover in case Microsoft’s network drops.
