As Akita approaches its 30th anniversary, the company is proud to share an important milestone in its development.
Christophe Boudet, founder and Managing Director, will transition into the role of Chairman, as an evolution that reflects the growth and the strategic direction of the organisation.
Driving Culture
Over recent years, Christophe has focused increasingly on guiding Akita’s long-term vision and culture. This transition formalises that shift and reinforces our commitment to strong governance and sustainable progress.
Operational leadership will continue to be driven by our established team of directors: Charlie James, Lauren Enser, Sion Harrington and Sean Williams.
Their combined expertise, ownership mindset and customer-led approach have been central to Akita’s success. They remain responsible for day-to-day operations and the delivery of the dependable, proactive IT services our customers expect.
As Chairman, Christophe will focus on strategy, culture, and ensuring that Akita stays aligned to the principles that have shaped it for three decades. His leadership will support our directors as they steer the organisation through its next phase of growth.
Building On Success
Entering our 30th year in 2026, Akita is in a strong position: a strong operational team supported by strategic oversight, a clear direction, and continued ambition to deliver exceptional service.
This is supported by our status as finalists in two national IT awards programmes, as well as strong growth across our IT, cyber security and business applications services.
This moment marks the start of an exciting new chapter for our customers, our people, and the organisations that place their trust in us.
