Office 365 and IT Upgrades for City of London Firm

Citrica engaged with Akita in 2014 as they were looking for a more reliable and proactive IT support provider for their London offices.
Following an initial site survey, it was clear that the IT infrastructure was restricting the business. An ageing Microsoft Small Business Server was acting as the email and file server, with absolutely no redundancy built in.
As Citrica were looking to improve mobile working for key staff, Akita were asked to explore the options to enable them to benefit from more flexible and reliable systems. As a result, email was migrated to Microsoft Office 365 and an offsite backup solution was implemented. In addition to this, out of hours support was provided to key personnel to ensure that any IT problems occurring outside of office hours could be immediately dealt with, a key benefit given their extended operating hours.
More recently, Citrica have migrated to Akita hosted desktop service to remove the requirement for the onsite server. This has led to an improved service, increased resilience, and a more flexible solution to enable Citrica to tailor their IT systems and infrastructure to their expanding needs.
