Gallery’s primary site and HQ is in Sittingbourne and they also have offices in High Wycombe, China and Eastern Australia. The principle business management system is SQL based and both UK sites use Akita’s hosted VoIP systems. Utilising our VoIP solution ensures that Gallery benefit from a feature-rich telephone systems across all locations, as well as drastically reducing their call costs to save them money on both internal and external communications.

Akita use a combination of an on-site hosted VMware infrastructure for the UK based offices, Akita’s own hosted services for running all critical business systems (Email SQL) and AWS (Amazon Web Services) to deliver hosted NAV and hosted desktops to Australian users.

Gallery’s management required total control of all information flow and the best way to achieve that was to contain everything within their own cloud. That cloud is comprised of both Akita’s own services and those provided by AWS (yet still managed by Akita).
